Work Experience 26th September – 7th October 2011
Unfortunately as you may be aware as part of Government cutbacks funding for work experience has been withdrawn from July this year.
The organisation of placements is a lengthy procedure and we had already started the process with students in March. I am delighted to be able to inform you that the College has been fortunate to acquire some funding to enable a restricted number of students to take part.
It has been decided that anyone who has made the effort and been successful in organising their own placement will be able to complete their work experience placement during the dates above.
Students who are studying a Diploma will also complete a placement as this is a requirement of the course.
It is with regret that the whole year group will not be able to participate as in the past. However it is not too late to hand in a Student Arranged Placement Form (SAP) form should you wish your child to do so. The deadline for this is Friday 22rd July at the very latest. After this date it will not be possible to process forms.
